I got banned from the discord for filing an appeal, following all proper protocols and not saying anything about it outside of the appeal ticket, against an unjust 30 minute mute on discord. Really, banned for filing an appeal ticket. Didn't even send me a PM with their reasoning for the ban.

The game is great, but consider the behavior of the moderation team too. Read up on the rules, check up on the broad range of things you're not allowed to even submit an appeal for (and note that all decisions you don't appeal are assumed to be valid).

I'll keep paying for this website out of my own pocket since I appreciate the community, but this message will stay up until someone on staff at least tells me the reason for the discord ban. Feel free to message me on discord. Signed, daylight.txt

Edit: They permanently banned without appeal me from the game itself too, for leaving the message above. I haven't harassed anyone, haven't even discussed RMC since filing the appeal above. Haven't played the game since then either. My only citation prior to this was EORG, for walking into space when I didn't know it killed you. All I asked for was a PM from a moderator telling me the reason for the discord ban. I have still not received any contact from anyone.

I'll paste the ban message below. Consider, again, that the worst 'harassment' I've done is one message on my own website telling people to consider the behavior of the moderation team, and to read the rules. That's literally all of it. Haven't insulted anyone, haven't called anyone names, hell, haven't even said the mod team is doing a bad job, just that their rules are overly strict.

The ban reason is: "Multiple violations of community rules, including harassment and perpetuated harassment of moderation staff. No appeal will be accepted due to the extreme nature of these issues."
